I've had a membership here for three years and I'm not impressed. The staff is rude and very stand offish. The lay out is weird compared to other gyms. I'm moving in six months and transferring to where I'm moving and I cannot wait. It's done what I've needed but the new staff there just isn't nice and if someone could drive to another planet fitness I would tell them to.
This is a great gym for all fitness levels. Can be super quiet but can also get crowded, but I’ve never had to wait for anything except a treadmill (I’m cool with that) It gets 4 stars simply because I feel that the staff aren’t as friendly as one would expect, and they kind of give off a ‘I don’t care about you’ vibe. They ARE always cleaning; the gym is spotless, so that’s definitely appreciated. But sometimes a smile would be nice, especially when you see most of these people 5-6x a week. Just had THE worst experience here tonight. Ben their “manager” was incredibly rude to my fiancé and I. We walked in an hour prior to their closing time and first told me that he can’t even look me up just because my home club was in Elyria and I don’t have my actual card. I had my barcode number the whole time but this idiot didn’t even let me finish my sentence to say that I had my number he just ASSUMED that I didn’t and so I couldn’t workout there. Not a bad club, the weights are heavy and the treadmills move. But I’m not sure why you can have a dozen rolls of paper towels and cleaner all around the whole club but refuse to put even one roll and bottle in the locker room in the winter. The salt and snow has made the floors, benches and lockers horribly filthy. I get that it’s tough problem to deal with but If you are not going to have enough staff to keep it clean then at least let your members wipe a few things off so they are usable.

Wondering why different "policies" are in place depending on the employee working. I go into tan always 45-50 minutes before close. One day the beds close 20 minutes prior to closing the next weekend it's 1 hour prior. Completely frustrating. Will return to the Rocky River location because they have employees that have it together and are friendly.
I went in today to renew my membership. For the past two years I was able to pay $99 up front for the year, plus tax. I was told that they no longer offer this deal. It would cost me a $39 start up fee, plus $10 a month, and then an added "yearly membership fee" of $39 billed in November. This comes to a grand total of $198 for the year. I proceeded to ask if there was a discount for paying cash up front. The answer was no- it would cost $220. I understand prices increase. However, for what?
