UPDATE (1/21/26): Unfortunately things with Home Instead deteriorated in mid-2025. There were many changes in the office and the attention and service we were used to changed dramatically. We gave them many opportunities to resolve the issues which were brought to their attention multiple times. Promises were made, but never kept. Update - my experience with Home Instead Kokomo took a dramatic downward turn. My wife, who had dementia, was getting excellent care from HI, including outstanding work by her primary caregiver who was assigned to her five days a week, except for days when that caregiver was out or was needed temporarily elsewhere. Having someone with whom she had rapport was important to us and is important for dementia clients. Home Instead of Kokomo has been such a blessing. All the caregivers that took care of both my parents for 3 years did an excellent job and were compassionate in their care. Diana was great to work with in scheduling help around me and my brother’s work schedule even at short notice. Have recommended their services to our other friends that have aging parents or loved ones in need of home care.
