UPDATE (1/21/26): Unfortunately things with Home Instead deteriorated in mid-2025. There were many changes in the office and the attention and service we were used to changed dramatically. We gave them many opportunities to resolve the issues which were brought to their attention multiple times. Promises were made, but never kept. Update - my experience with Home Instead Kokomo took a dramatic downward turn. My wife, who had dementia, was getting excellent care from HI, including outstanding work by her primary caregiver who was assigned to her five days a week, except for days when that caregiver was out or was needed temporarily elsewhere. Having someone with whom she had rapport was important to us and is important for dementia clients.
