I contracted Home Instead in late February for daily companionship for my father. He has mild dementia and lives in his own home so he needed help with medications and needed daily interactions. He was initially against the idea but the choice was that or move to assisted living. We gave it a try and he was paired up with Gwen. She is lovely and a perfect match. I was referred to Home Instead a few months ago. Lauren my Case Coordinator is very knowledgeable and kind. I was matched with Pam who does a very good job for me. Being Palative I don't have enough words to express how much all this means. A huge load has been taken off my shoulders. Lauren and Pam listen well and relley hear you. In April of 2024 to June of 2025 Cloé Michaud from home stead came into our home to look after my Grandma, she was very enthusiastic, and compassionate towards someone with a very difficult illness like Parkinson’s disease, she, and had a lot of respect for the family members, she even took the time to chat with everyone, she felt like an extended part of the family with how in depth she would go with my grandmother, to help her walk, and do speech therapy with her, do puzzles, help make desserts, she even went beyond the ca... read more
