Home Instead has made the difficulty of keeping an aging parent in his home easier. The entire staff has been wonderful to work with but I would like to recognize my father's caretaker Rose. She is professional, dependable and very caring. She recently picked up extra shifts just so my father would not have a stranger while a colleague was on vacation. She has been willing to change her schedule to help meet our needs. My father looks forward to Rose coming to care for him.
I contacted Home Instead for my sister-in-law who had broken her hip and lived alone. Out of three service providers, Home Instead was the only one who answered my call with a live person! And they continued to always be available to our every request and need. Thank you for providing such great service during a difficult time. I wanted to add a special thank you to Michelle and Andrea who were especially helpful and kind!
I want to give a huge shout out to Patty and Jackie who are incredible caregivers and have made the process of having someone in my home take care of me while I recover from a fractured arm and surgery so much easier and comfortable than I ever thought would be possible. Their assistance to me has been invaluable and I really appreciate each and everything thing they do for me! I also want to thank Home Instead for being so consistently there for me as well. They are a great company!
The care I received from the caregivers from Home Instead were in general very good. I've had several different home health aides and some of the better ones were: Daniel, Devine, Diamond, Belinda & Angie. I had mixed results with some of the others. Also, there should be mandatory hygiene education before the aides are sent out. For example, coughing in one's hand or wiping ones nose then handling objects to give to the client is unsanitary.
