During this Covid-19 pandemic, Donna refused to wear a mask despite the emergency orders in effect in Anchorage and the sellers' and our indications that masks are necessary. When we emailed her to express our frustration, she responded rudely by saying she doesn't "subscribe to the hysteria around this so-called pandemic" and also that she has a "health condition" that prevents her from wearing a mask. I certainly respect everyone's right to wear a mask, social distance, do whatever it takes to make you feel comfortable. At no point prior to or during the inspection did anyone request I wear a mask therefore I never "refused." You could have made that request at any time during the two hours you were at the inspection. Every time (save one) I've been asked to wear a mask by buyers or sellers, which equates to less than 1% of scheduled inspections, I have complied. We are out of state and Donna didn't hesitate to keep us informed on the process and kept us updated with everything that was going to happen and when we received the inspection it was very detailed and really helped us understand what condition the property was in. The fact that I'm taking the time to leave a review in itself says that I am genuinely appreciative and beyond satisfied with Donna's inspection of the home I'm looking to buy. It is clear that she is a highly competant home inspector, and I would not hesitate to both recommend her and work with her in the future. Donna came out and did a home inspection and Radon test on a large home my mother and I want to buy. She was efficient, polite, and answered all our questions patiently and completely. Also, our report was done the very next day after the Radon test was complete, with lots of pictures to document the observations. Very happy with our experience, and if we need it, I will definitely use her services again.
This service did an inspection for me July 11, 2017 in Anchorage I was very impressed with their efficiency, covering all areas, good suggestions about maintenance I should consider, along with reasons for areas that were noted as requiring work. Very complete with very fair price.
