Dr. Mehta omitted to tell me the side effects of having an oophorectomy. I asked her to tell me ALL of the side effects, and she continued to tell me the prognosis if I didn't have the surgery. She refused to tell me that I'd be in medical menopause immediately afterwards, and that I'd start losing my hair. 20 years later, I'm nearly bald in my crown.
