DO NOT work for this agency. Toxic office / work environment. It was like working with "mean girls" Forced to participate in office "events" that we had no interest in that cost us money. Director and managers arive late everyday - then sit behind closed door meetings and talk trash about staff. Cindy, Jamie and Hayden will lie straight to your face and not even pay what you are owed when you leave. Run ! Dont walk away from anything to do with Mederi / Optum Longwood Fl. office.
Rude. Lied and said my wife was discharged due to too many missed visits. We never missed a single visit. The only time visits were rescheduled was at the therapists request. If you are too far out they will drop you asap.
this company is a joke. nothing they bragged about came true. once i oked medicare to pay them they stopped all meaningful treatment and kept replacing nurses with volunter helpers with no experience. appointment after appointment they were a no show. each nurse working for the hospice had no idea what other nurses were doing. no cohesivness to their planning. each day was a complete incompetent screwup. their license should be discontinued. again. THEY ARE A JOKE NOETHERN ARIZONA HOSPICE IS A COMPLETE JOKE
My mother died of a very painful skin infection that turned into sepsis because first Assured Home Health and then Assured Hospice did not treat a wound on her arm properly. Instead of recognizing early on that the wound needed more than a bandage change, they let it go for days with multiple Assured nurses being aware of the increasing redness and swelling. All the ladies that came out during my mothers last weeks were awesome! They all gave the best, whole hearted care and were always available when needed...by phone or in person. We were not always home due to work schedules but the nurses never failed to correspond with questions about how the night before was and what we needed to do next. This is the most Incompetent place I have ever had to deal with. My has been out of supplies for over a month and no one can replace the order. We have had to find suppliers where ever we can to purchase out of pockets.
I was refused the revocation I kept requesting. What a damn nightmare I had to go to a Dr to have then release me from hospice. Never again will I go into hospice. The University of Tennessee hospice services kept me from revolting and it took a letter from another physician for the hospice to release me. The billing did not disenroll me so I’m liable for the Drs bill of $195. It was the knowledge that hospice had that knew I had to be disenrolled for Medicare to pay for my Dr visit.
