When I became a 24/7 caregiver for my elderly father, I expected I could handle it alone. I love my dad and wanted to do my best for him. I have been using Home Care Assistance for several years now. I have care a few days a week and the caregivers have been great. One of my caregivers has been working with me for almost the entire time. He has enabled me to continue to volunteer and support me so I can be a docent at a local park. Additionally he has gone with me on appointments and errands. He helped me with online appointments during the time of covid and now he has helped me while I get through the VA system.
