Overall, it was a good experience with no significant hiccups. They aren't available outside of business hours (or on weekends) so making listing changes isn't possible during these times. Smooth process overall if you know what you're doing on the listing side.
Not only was this a less expensive way to sell a home, but it was superior in every way to other homes we have sold. All of the same services were offered at a much lower cost. Very high-quality photographs, yard signs, MLS entries, Zillow, etc. Our realtor, Katherine Johnson, was a joy to work with. She was helpful and supportive in a very stressful time. In addition we we got more than our asking price. All in all a very satisfying experience.
I appreciate that this service is available and it was a good experience. I had some confusion about a few things and it would have helped to have had more info. There are a few steps that a non realtor would not know. So, doing it yourself has a bit of risk. That's when you want more support and increased services which are available. I am satisfied with how my situation worked out!
If you have a little patience their flat fee system can save lots of fees.
Greg worked diligently and followed through unfailingly to get my house sold. can't say enough good about Home Avenue -- they are the best!
