Charged us for “damages” when we moved out which was $195. We tried settling it and was told we did not have to pay anything because not enough documentation was provided to prove such charges. So we were told the account was closed and we did not have to pay anything. Next thing I know I wake up with a collection on my credit report from Ashcroft for the same amount I tried paying from the beginning. Dealing with this property has been such a hassle. We lived there from November 2024 until December 2025. While living there over all wasn’t a terrible experience (besides paying a $234 amenity/hoa fee with no amenities. The club house was not done until a month before we moved out. I had a horrible experience at my last rental home due to poor management personal and lack of care for concerns we had so after looking at a new place to rent we stopped by the office at Ashcroft in Oswego and spoke to Maranda she was super friendly and nice most importantly knowledgeable about everything that we spoke about or asked questions .. she actually followed through with us when she said she would showed us options of homes available and worked with us on our needs answered all our questions with patience we also ... read more
Do not move here. I will say the maintenance team is wonderful. But these house are very clearly put together very quickly and very cheap. Multiple doors in my house don’t close correctly and there’s a leak that is soaking the carpet in the closet that no one can figure out. And these people have the nerve to raise our rent $200 dollars for the renewal.
Do NOT move here. Trent and Diego are absolutely wonderful. But the management is horrible. Communication is lack luster and they do not care about their residents.
