I have been seeing Dr. Holz for several years since my optometrist found a tear in my retina. I have always found him to be extremely willing to listen to my concerns and explain what needs to be done. He is very good at letting me know what needs to be done right away and what can wait. I wholeheartedly recommend him.
Dr. Holz saved our sons eye 24 years ago! The is NOT a better Dr on this planet! He met us at the Scurlock Tower on a Saturday night and scheduled surgery immediately! He is our Angel. Deb and Danny Kalischko
We met Dr. Holz about two years ago when my hubby had a detached retina. His recommendations for care were immediate and his recommendations succinct and to the point. The continuous care we received from his Victoria staff and he were always A+. Dr Holz is a god. He worked miracles in surgery for my cousin. The best of the best.
if Dr. Holz does not take care of my eye as well as he does, it will go permanently blind. He knows what it takes to keep it working.
Dr. Holz is the doctor! ... caring, respectful, professional, knowledgeable, educates his patient, always ask if you have questions, never makes you feel like he’s in a hurry and very comfortable to be with. He is up front in his diagnosis and treatments given. I could not be happier with him as a person and my doctor. He has been my doctor now for about 5 months. I am happy I was highly referred to him. One of the worst places I have ever gone. The two assistants were rude. One even yelled in my face. I thought she was about to assault me. I have never been treated as poorly and inappropriately at a clinic in my life. Dr. Holtz made no attempt to rectify the situation.
Very caring and more knowledgeable than you can imagine. Puts patient interest first. Very rare to find an excellent doctor like him anymore.
