I had two loved ones at the outpatient mental health clinic. Charlene Patenaude, MD, promised to call each of them over a weekend. It has been two weeks for one person and one month for the other, and no call despite phone messages and emails left for her. She bites off more than she can chew!
In and out quickly for routine bloodwork!
Went to the ER as I was having a bad allergic reaction to antibiotics I was taking. My throat was closing up, I could barely swallow, my tongue was swollen, and I had developed hives. It took 9 hours for me to finally be seen by a doctor. 7 in the waiting room and 2 in a bed. It seems like after they had tested me for anything viral + an x-ray (both came back fine), they disregarded me entirely. The doctor seemed just as surprised I had to wait so long. I got lucky my allergic reaction didn't get worse. Awful experience.
