All The nurses in labor and delivery AMAZING! There's a special place in my heart for those nurses. They were so comforting never once did I question being there. I don't even think me saying thank you as much as I did was enough.
Once my husband was diagnosed as terminal with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and refused hospice the nurses were hard to get a hold of and doctors were never around. It seemed as if they just wanted him to die to give his bed to someone else. A redheaded nurse told him it's ok to give up and stop fighting. He didn't want to go to hospice, do you think he wanted to hear that!? She stayed away from our room after that, thankfully. Some nurses were great, Leo, Susie, Doris, .. others sometimes took forever to get him his pain meds.... read more
