I went for knee replacement surgery. There is a definite infection control issue. Staff members did not wash their hands, one nurse even flushed my I V with on gloves on.
I went in to the ER on doctor's orders and was admitted to 5 Chadwick for about 3-4 days. I was nervous about everything that was going on with me but had the best nurses and staff taking care of me. Whenever I felt nervous about anything they were there for me. This is the first time I've had a hospital stay for being sick and I was taken care of. Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck provided one of the best experiences from delivery to discharge. In the last 5 days we shared experiences with the nurses and doctors that cannot be captured in words.
