I had a wonderful experience giving birth at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. Dr. Joulak was absolutely excellent — attentive, calm, and very professional. He made me feel safe and supported throughout the whole process. The nurses were also amazing: so kind, caring, and always ready to help with a smile. I’m truly grateful to the entire team for making this such a special and peaceful moment. Highly recommend!
Doctor is very rude and opinionated. Nurses are great but do to the doctor who helped us delivers attitude and shear disrespect I would not recommend anyone to this hospital. The nurses did a great job stating that again. But do not give birth here you will regret it. Maybe Ina few years they will fix stuff up but my next child will be born in Andover and the room was very dirty
Pros: The staff are generally great, very professional, and skilled, especially the OBs, anesthesiologist Dr. Bisbi, physicians, pediatricians, and some of the RNs (especially Courtney, Anne, Holly, Brigette, Sandra; they went above and beyond). Cons: rooms are old, somewhat dirty. Food is mediocre. They don't do celebratory meals anymore. Your experience at the birthing center depends on which doctor and RNs are assigned to you. Daughter in law being induced and told only the father can be in the room. Patient should have a say who is allowed to visit . Your hospital states two visitors allowed at a time. Patient is in no distress or emergency situation at this time just wanted a female family member to assist in the birth of the baby. Having a baby is not a disease and should not be treated as such. Family should be welcome and embraced in the birthing process.
