On July 29, 2025, my mother began receiving in-home hospice services from Holy Cross Home Care and Hospice (“Hospice”). On the first day of her care, we were visited by a nurse administrator. She explained that the purpose of hospice care is to provide comfort and support to both my mother, our family and her caregiver. I needed some home care after a bit of major back surgery and the nurses who came by from Holy Cross were all top-drawer. Every one. Clearly very knowledgeable, they genuinely cared about my well-bring and were patient and clear as they explained things to me. Nobody WANTS to need home care, but if you do these are the guys. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
My mom always had a lot of energy with this physical therapist and actually ENJOYED the sessions.
