Just another scam mechanic. Transmission was having issues and they quoted me for 5,000$. Took it to Honda where they fixed it in a couple hours for only 300 dollars… be careful with Holt!
Had an issue with my daughter's 08 Ford Explorer. These guys are old school pros, they diagnosed it, then rebuilt my entire transmission in a couple of days. Cannot recommend anyone better - this shop is excellent, honest and clear during the entire process. I dealt with Nathan who was excellent but he made it clear he felt the guys in the back were the stars! If you need transmission work, use these guys!
They have the best Transmission mechanic in the Low Country and North Charleston,SC. I requested an upgrade with my 68RFE transmission rebuild, and Nathan said his mechanic would rebuild my transmission the way it should be with my upgrade requested. Master mechanics and his helper are the best in the low country. They completed the rebuild in a timely manner. I am, and my son is very happy with the rebuilding of the transmission. I came to Holt Transmission after taking my car to another service shop and essentially blowing $4500 on a repair that did nothing. Nathan has been nothing but accommodating and helpful and patient. After spending that money at that shop, my family was hit by one bout of bad luck after another and i could not get the money together to get my car paid for and out of their lot.
