What I think is if you're injured and your doctor is only giving you pain meds go find out what's really wrong. I had thrown my sciatic nerves and still after a year felt constant pain and at times I was dragging my right foot. One session of massage therapy and BAM the major tension in my muscles and tendons were released. I also found out that tension was place pressure on the sciatic nerve.
