Suddenly one morning my 2015 Honda Civic would only start in neutral and drive 5mph. I brought it into this shop. Got a call later, told the transmission was blown, $4500 repair for a used one to be put in. Decided to get it evaluated elsewhere. Turns out the wires were chewed by a rodent and the fix was $380. Charlie and his crew do great work at a good price. They repaired my transmission but it was still making a noise so Charlie fixed it and only charged me for the additional parts. Overall saving me around 2k.

I'm supposed to trust these guys, and they've been recommended by many trusted mechanics in the area, but i believe they tried to scam me. I was driving when my car wouldnt shift out of 2nd gear. I brought the car to hollywood transmission who saw that a small piece of my transmission was cracked off, a circular bit that sticks out as if it was made for a bolt to go through, to attach some accessory.
