This cemetery is as Hollywood as they come. Genuine elegance is provided by its Egyptian temples, Greek statues and Roman memorials. This is the final resting place for some of the most famous names in early Hollywood history including Cecil B. DeMille, Douglas Fairbanks and Rudolph Valentino. Beautiful place for a walk. We found David Lynch and stumbled upon Paul Reubens. There are lots of curious and loud peafowl.

Ein sehr sehenswerter Ort, der viele andere, meist künstliche oder kitschige Orte in Hollywood übertrifft. Mit dem eigene Auto bzw. Mietwagen kann man direkt auf das Gelände fahren, rideshare Dienste bringen einen ebenfalls bis auf das Friedhofsgelände. Einheimische machen hier sogar Picknick, das kann man als Tourist natürlich genau so machen, wenn man sich an die üblichen Verhaltensregeln hält. In jedem Falle eine Empfehlung, wenn man mehr als den Walk of Fame und Souvenirläden in LA besuchen möchte.
