We have gone through four family members at this location and sadly my father’s was the first time I had the first hand experience. The location is a bit inconvenient but it met the needs our large family had. Juan Carlos was my coordinator both him and Edith did an amazing job in making sure everything was handled despite how fast our timetable was to bury my father. I had many questions and they were all answered promptly. Burying a loved one is tough and they were extremely helpful with the entire process.
My mother, Sirvart, has been laid to rest at Hollywood Forever Cemetery for many years. Recently, I visited her gravesite and was very upset to discover that the large granite monument covering her grave had shifted noticeably from its concrete foundation. Really cool concert venue but needs more than one bar.
Hollywood Forever is such a beautiful and peaceful place with so much history and character. The grounds are very well maintained, and the atmosphere feels calm, respectful, and truly unique. It’s definitely more than just a cemetery — it’s an important part of Hollywood’s history and a special place to visit in Los Angeles. Highly recommend visiting at least once.
