In a sea cinema collectors' shops, here's one that's happy to aim low(brow). – In Short Since 1977, Hollywood Book & Poster has been providing trashy-film buffs with all the lobby cards, posters and fan magazines they need to keep their obsessions percolating. The two-room shop is packed with vintage and repro treats, and plays host to a constant stream of regulars, passing tourists and studio runners picking up vintage TV and film scripts.
Collector's delight I admit it, I first got in the habit of coming here because I had a little crush on the guy with the strawberry blond hair. But if you get past the postcards and mainstream posters catering to the tourists visiting Hollywood Boulevard, there is a real treasure trove here. This is bar none, the best place in town to get scripts.
