I took both of my daughters to this surgeon to each have all 4 wisdom teeth removed. Both girls wound up with very painful infections. The office was not very helpful. It took the office staff nearly an hour to answer the phone after multiple calls when I needed them most. Then I was told that the surgeon went on vacation and wouldn't help. I paid over $1,000 on the day of the surgery and asked how much more money was owed. I was told, "You don't owe any more money". Dr. Perkins pulled a tooth, and later inserted an implant for me, all of which went well. It was a difficult extraction, as an abcess has almost gone through my maxilla (jawbone). A few years later, he extracted another tooth and gave me the option of inserting another peg (expensive, since I have no dental insurance), or just leaving it. He did not pressure me to get the peg, and reassured me it would not affect my bit or appearance.
