I broke a track bar bracket on my Jeep in Sonora pass. I limped it all the way to Gardnerville and looked up the reviews on Hollars and they were great. I live 4 hours away and was stuck in Garderville. I explained what happened to Dave and he fixed me up that morning. They did a great job on welding the bracket and reinforcing it as well. After more than a year of bringing my 2001 4runner to others shops trying to fix the 4wd system not engaging the front differential with no one else able to find or fix the issue. Many mechanics/shops straight up gave up on my 4runner until I finally brought it to Mark at Hollars and he knew exactly what to do. He really knows these Toyota/4wd systems like no one else. Specialty in 4x4! Diagnosed and solved my issues and had my only car back to me fast! A little expensive (as is everything today) but always great service and detailed explanations. No nonsense but they can get quite busy. 🚙
I would not even give them a 1 Star! We dropped off our vehicle for almost 2 weeks they never looked at it we could never reach them to see what progress they had made. He never called us to tell us anything and on the end of week two he called me and told me he didn't have the time to look at it and to come and pick it up because he needed the parking spot! Mind you we had to have it towed there so I had to pay for another tow to get it back to our house. Horrible, Rude & Inconsiderate 👎👎👎👎
