The Great: The location, the staff!, The restaurant and bars, The pool, and the cleanliness and the free water at the front desk. The ok: waiting for a table at the restaurant because it’s so popular. People out front on the porch and at the pool smoking cigarettes from morning to night. The sad: not being able to bring my own alcohol or food to the pool, which the management did give me a good explanation for... Pros: Common areas were nice, large porch for sitting out, nice pool area with a bar, a good restaurant and coffee shop. Good bed and bedding. Just a few blocks from downtown. Cons: Room was very small, bathroom was VERY small. We had a standard king room and it was very tight. There weren't any shelves or hooks to hang anything or put your things. The bed was tall and so there was no where to sit other than a small office chair. Bathroom was too small for two people to stand in. I realize that it's because it's a historic h... read more
