Dreaded the whole RV buying experience. But met Barry in Sales and the entire process was surprisingly enjoyable on our 40' Newmar Ventana. Barry is a low pressure sales guy, very likable, and great with followup. Jim in Service is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. They worked with me on schedule, satellite antenna install.... it was just a good deal all the way around. Price negotiations went quickly and, I believe, left us both feeling like we got a good deal. I'll followup on this after I experience service appts.
My experience with Holland RV in Santee and San Marcos, Ca has been nothing but terrible. This experience started out poorly right out of the gate (2014) by having the wrong trailer at delivery and proceeding forward to when I made attempts to get my trailer in the shop for a leak concern on the bedroom floor in December of 2016. The Santee location could not get my trailer in for weeks, so I proceeded to contact the San Marcos location. The service department was able to take in my trailer within two weeks. Mindy and 1 other salesperson were the worst sales people ive ever met ,in the lakeside lot , totally bad attitudes
Bought our rv from the Santee location. Always get great service. Mindy has been great. Had some big issues with the roof. Doreen in San Marcos went to bat for us and got the repair approved. A little mishap occurred and they took care of it right away. Emanuel even got the part sent to Santee so we didn't have to drive to San Marcos again. Very pleased and we are coming up on our year owning. Thanks Holland RV!
Very disappointed was lied to by the service department when we picked up our trailer was lied to by the person that we were signing the contract with so don't ever trust her items were not fix that we're supposed to be fixed or was told that they were going was on order other issues lied to about and just because we signed the contract we're stuck with it.....

In April of 2016 my wife and I purchased a new Salem Altra-Lite 19’ Travel Trailer (by Forest River) from Holland Motors. The trailer is ideal for the 2 of us and served our needs for the camping/vacation trips we planned and actually accomplished. During one of our stops a seasoned camper pointed out that one of my wheels showed an indication that the wheel bearing seal was leaking.
