We purchased a brand new 2019 Grand Design 5th wheel from Holland RV. Upon taking care of some warranty issues their technician put a hole in the floor. They agreed to repair it, but in doing so created another problem because they left a large amount of water on the floor which diminished the repair and cause another part of the floor to bubble. My wife and I purchased a used 2018 THOR motorhome (first mistake) after a short time the MOTORHOME started LEANING TO THE LEFT!! Changed out the WORN rear shocks myself with coil over shocks, no difference. Made a call to the Santee location they said take it to a suspension place they use, I pay of course, they just kind of BLEW IT OFF. I didnt take it to thier. I met with AJ for three different visits. The initial visit, where I looked at literally every toy hauler on the lot. A second visit, where I had narrowed my liking down to maybe three or four, ( still with AJ ) and then a 3r visit where I brought my wife to see some finalists. It was this 3rd visit where AJ shined. 7 months after purchase had an issue with the leveling system and made arrangements with Holland Service department for the warranty work. Got an appointment scheduled with no issues and Darrel was our service advisor. The problem was identified and fixed within 24 hours. During pick up, we discovered another issue and Nate, the service tech, was out to see us within minutes and decided to replace the leveling system solenoid and did that within minutes. I purchased my first RV. This was a huge investment for me. I do want to say that Mindy Smith and Dean Konitshek have gone way beyond the excellence of customer service. These two have helped me with all my needs and questions.
My parents had purchased a Motor Home from here a couple of years ago, A retirement gift to one another, that is the only reason I went with Holland was because of the positive experiences they have had. I am very happy with my choice and recommend them just as my parents do!
Purchased my RV 2 years ago at Holland RV in Palm Desert. Called Holland in San Marcos yesterday (I was in the area) to ask if I could stop by the next day (today) to have the maintenance Dept look at a small problem I was having with my ceiling fan. Richard in Maintenance was more than accommodating. Although he was backed up three weeks with appointments, he told me to stop by today and he would look at the issue. I'm a snowbird Canadian who on spur of moment, when my wife and I dropped in at Holland RV in Palm Desert, ended up trading in our 2010 Class A diesel and purchasing a 2013 Tiffin Phaeton. The Holland RV sales staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the Phaeton and the process for re-importing the Class A back into the US (relatively simple) and assisted us with the paperwork and process for exporting the new purchase from the US and importing it into Canada (a bit more involved).
