Due to wild fires last September (2017) our reservation for Lake MacDonald was cancelled 2 weeks prior to our holiday. I was crushed!!! My husband frantically researched and found this gem and booked it ASAP. I am so glad that Mother Nature made our decision for us. We stayed in the Grizzly House loved it so much we stayed an extra night. As we paid our bill and we rebooked for July 2018 (10 DAYS to go!!!!) Absolutely beautiful spot. Stayed two nights in the Grizzly Den cabin and two queen beds full bathroom and sitting area. We were steps from the lake and had a great covered porch. Christian, Nancy, Karen and Kally were outstanding. We were right next to the lodge so it was easy to get wifi. No cell service. We would highly recommend Holland Lake Lodge
