RecommendedJust got back from a wonderful weekend at the Lodge! Christian, the owner was very friendly and took the time to show us around. My friend and I had a wonderful time and will be back for sure! The food was amazing and the view and lake are spectacular!
Just stayed for the weekend, and had a great time. I see some complaints about the owner, and seems like people either love him or hate him 🤦🏼♀️ My personal experience with him could not have been better. He was welcoming, and very accommodating, and the bluntness that some may take as rudeness is welcomed by me! We got along with him wonderfully and while there was nothing special about our room, Christian and his staff are what would make us want to go back again. Wonderful Montana old world service and lodging. Seriously not glam, but what you need and what you're looking for!
Went to go teach a young first time year how to fly fish on the point at the Lodge. Never have caused any disturbance to any of the guests staying at the lodge or that are there for the day sitting out on the lawn. We were instructed that we were not allowed to walk through the Lodge's grass unless we were overnight guests. I've been going up to Holland lake for 30 years and am a 3rd generation to continue to go up there. Hello Brett, Thanks for the feedback. I politely asked you to not fish off the front lawn. You were not a paying guest, not an overnight guest. And there are many other miles of shoreline along Holland Lake from which to fish. Why must you fish from our point? After you left the first time, you then trespassed by walking along private overnight guest cabins that were occupied. You then stood in the water because technically we don't control the water, just the shoreline. So sad to me that you are teaching your young children... read more

One of the most beautiful locations in Montana. Lodge has great food and service and the bar has an awesome selection of wine, beer and spirits. Highly recommended by myself and my wife.
