My boyfriend and I lived in Skyview and we loved it! The location is perfect. We lived very comfortably there, and management would come the next day if we had an issue or needed something to be repaired. I would highly recommend living here if you are looking for a 1/1.
Generally nice apartment with a reasonable rent price, but the pool in the courtyard is frequently full of young children. Kids being kids, they're quite loud. It's not a great place to live as a student if you're planning to study at home. The windows are thin, and you can hear everything that goes on at the pool. I'm definitely moving soon, because it's not relaxing living here.
I lived at Bellevue Square for 2 years. I liked living there most of the time but there were some definite downsides. Pros: the unit was huge, around 1000 square feet, and very inexpensive, especially for how close it is to FSU. Maintenance was always quick to respond and fixed any problems we had. The area is pretty secluded from the main street so it feels pretty safe and is usually quiet (depending on who you have for your neighbors). Parking is also free and they don't tow. Best renting experience I have ever had in my life. Holistic properties was willing to help my roommate and I sign the lease when lived in different states and could not physically come to their office, has always responded questions and requests quickly and courteously, and continually works to improve the properties they manage.
Lived in 1854 belle vue last year and it was wonderful. Loved the fireplace and the view from the spacious back porch into the woods. Management was prompt and friendly. The apartments could use some updating but for the price for a two bedroom that close to campus (and perfect for walking to tailgates!) it could not be beat. They were even so nice as to offer to turn on our porch lights while away for winter break. Great place to live!
