Phenomenal guest service. Exceeded all expectations in all areas
Arrived late and was told that they didn't hold my room. Was supposed to have a room with two double beds and ended up with a king and a rollaway. The room was next to the elevator (made noise all night) and the place is old, dingy and run down. The area is inhospitable, there is a park with most of the city's homeless across the street and a casino/card club adjacent that is about as seedy as it gets. I would never stay here again, and I have crossed Holiday Inn off my list of places to consider.
Stayed here for a week for business.Hotel staff was very nice, even helped me carry up my gear that had been mailed there. However, the room had issues since I walked in the door. The first thing I did was to try and open the window, and the stick fell off into my hand. The walls are also paper thin - I heard my very loud neighbors all the time. This is SPECIFICALLY directed at the catered food for functions at this hotel. I cannot speak to the rooms or anything outside the function aspect of the hotel. The service was more than adequate -- our waiter was responsive, civil, polite, if not prompt. The ONE issue I had with our waiter was that when he was asked if a dessert was made kosher, he disappeared and didn't reappear. Ever. The MAIN problem was that I paid $35 for a beef dinner. TERRIBLE!!! MUST I SAY MORE? don't STAY here please don't! this hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in..I could type a full story about what happened but i don't feel like they deserve any more of my time at all..... door to balcony doesn't lock, balcony has no walls between rooms think safety, my daughter walked out and 2 doors down was able to see couple having sex with curtain open keep in mind she was 10 years old at the time ive never stayed in a hotel with connecting balcony TERRIBLE...
