Rooms are clean, but in my room the towel bar is barely hanging on to the wall, the water trickles out of the bathroom faucet, and the the heating/cooling unit is incredibly loud.

We weren’t supposed to stay here, but my kiddo put in wrong directions (and I didn’t check). We had been traveling all over SC for college tours and we were exhausted. Michael (GM) and DeShaun were at the front desk, and they helped me book a room last minute - and were so completely friendly about it! (Yes, I was able to cancel the other room). Terrible. Upon arrival was told our room wasn't available due to some "maintenance" issues. Was not provided any alternative housing options or accomodationsor. After a long wait, a general manager showed up and then blamed it on over-bookings and system problems. The complete lack of empathy for our situation, it was late at night with no place to stay, and the complete lack of problem ownership was unacceptable. Worst level of customer service I've ever seen.

Terrible experience. I am a Gold Elite member and was told that doesn’t matter. Booked room over a week before stay. Checked in at about 4:30pm. Was given a handicap room. Requested a change and was told nothing available because “rooms haven’t been cleaned yet”. Also they charge a fee for outside self parking. Others were complaining in the check in line as well. Don’t stay here. Too many other places nearby.
