We recently rented a houseboat on Sept 14 2018 for a four day weekend. I would totally recommend Holiday Harbor for any houseboat rental. These people define the word service. They respond to phone calls and emails quickly. The staff in the office and on the dock are really nice and friendly. We had zero problems with our houseboat and had a great time. A group of us stayed at their RV campgrounds over Labor Day weekend and we also rented a party boat. We had THE BEST TIME! I want to thank the team there for all their help, they were wonderful!
This was our first time on a houseboat. HH was easy to get to and the service was good. The houseboat was clean and everything worked. Staff answered all our questions. I had to call in and get directions for working the radio which staff patiently walked me through it. The boat was just the right size for the two of us and very adequate. I recommend everyone take a trip on Lake Shasta in a houseboat, very relaxing, quiet, and very beautiful.
The staff went well beyond expectations - Rusty arranged to have our trailer fixed while we went houseboating and was incredibly helpful. Great people and exceptional service is an understatement!

It is unfortunate that we can't cancel our boat and pontoon rentals due to Hirz fire. We camp every year at Hirz Bay and rent from Holiday Harbor every year as well. This year due to the fire at Hirz we are forced by mother nature to cancel. We were still going to go when we only had to contend with heavy smoke from Carr fire but now Hirz fire is making our annual trip a bust. Regretfully I called Holiday Harbor to cancel and was told I have to pay the 50%! Sometimes your loyal customers should be your main concern.
