We had rats with our trapped 1-year old and they decided that they would just give us a 20% discount on a ruined $10K+ trip. I would give this company a zero rating if I could. Do not use this company!! They have decided to put greed before customer safety. We had a house reserved for an Ironman race in November which was booked prior to even knowing about the COVID epidemic. Anticipating the event being canceled, we contact the company to see what our options are if the race is canceled. They were unwilling to make any concessions and gave us no viable options. I made that reservation a month early paid in advance. I was coming from Alabama going to Port Saint Joe Florida. My reservation number was 655-3172 and the cost was $1009.78. The governor of Alabama and the governor of Florida said stay at home do not come. I did not want to cancel I wanted to go but was legally bound not to go. I called told him I wasn't coming and asked for a refund. It was not my fault I couldn't keep the reservation however they only refunded $644.16 of the original payment. Thank you for reaching out. The difference in the refund VS what was paid in is a cancellation fee. Our standard policy for reservation are no refunds on reservations. Due to the extenuating circumstances we made a modified cancellation policy to either include rescheduling of a reservation or a cancellation fee. Also a portion of the amount was not refunded due to the purchase of CSA travel insurance. This is a cost that is non refundable.
