We went back to Hoya Santa last Friday night. I’d say it’s an upscale Latin restaurant serving flavorful food and well-crafted cocktails. Went with a friend, there weren’t many people there but our server was too busy on the phone to check in with us during our meal. I had to walk up to the host stand to order my dessert, he didn’t notice because he was on his phone so I had to get the hostess to get his attention. My steak was well done when I ordered medium, they remade it but never apologized for the inconvenience then returned it without the pepper it came with. We were looking for a place to eat and stumbled onto Hoja Santa. We are so happy we did. We were a little taken back by the menu, not your typical Mexican menu, but that's ok, the service was wonderful, quick and the food amazing! We will definitely go back again.
The food was delicious, the staff took excellent care of us, and the drinks were great. I will definitely come back.
The staff were very friendly, and the margarita was delicious.
