HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION & EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. If I could Give less stars I would. Absolutely AWFUL experience. Switched accountants, and told them the reason I was switching was because of the lack of communication from previous accountant. I didn’t think it could get any worse than the accountant I previously used, and unfortunately it became FAR worse. We had 2 business accounts and our personal taxes that we needed done. Very happy with my experience with Hogan-Hansen. I switched from another accountant that would never give me the time of day or work with me on how to prepare better for the following year, I was a client there for 5 years. Stephenie was very pleasant to work with at Hogan-Hansen and met with me and was very helpful! Very happy we switched.
SLOW AND EXPENSIVE!! If I could rate this a negative, I would. There fee's are entirely too much. I have been coming here for 4yrs now. Every year they go up. This year, they went up 40% from last year and taking 25% of my tax refund. It also took them over a month to complete my taxes. I had to contact for an update, which I was told they weren't done. I'm DONE! Next year, I would be paying over $1,000 for my tax...NO!!!!!
Stephenie Keat is an absolute rockstar CPA! She was a key component with helping me set up my business and get everything rolling. She is quick to respond, very professional and truly cares about her clients. I can't speak highly enough about Stephenie!
If want to avoid IRS penalties, use a different accountant. This group is quick with excuses, and slow with preparation. And after you get a dreaded IRS penalty letter, it takes more than a week and multiple requests to get a response.
