I was skeptical about the sweat tea chicken and about putting it on top of corn pudding, but I’m so glad I tried it. Delicious 😋 friendly staff and quick service!

Terrific Place to Eat with a great view of the Appalachian Mountains and the River
Placed an order 2 days in advance for a community delivery event. Slabs of ribs, sides, tip. planned having it for dinner with the family. I get notification 15 minutes before my scheduled delivery that my order was cancelled. Spoke to the owner and they apparently did not restock well for my order. Her reason for not notifying me earlier in the day is because "they were busy". They still had other orders to cancel and notify as well. Hi Rick, we appreciate your feedback, and will take into consideration the points you've mentioned. Although I do need to correct you on one thing. Your comment, "They still had other orders to cancel and notify as well." is incorrect, unfortunately, your order for pick up (we weren't offering delivery) was the ONLY one there was an issue with. A lot of folks like yourself placed pre-orders, but nothing could prepare anyone, no matter how good you are, for the volume of walk-up orders. Regards.
My wife and I pre-ordered our food online, to be picked up today 06/02 at their food truck when it was parked in our Community of Stone Ridge. My wife gets a call when the food was ready for pick up saying that one of our two entrees, the DinO-Bones (short end), had not arrived yet. Wow my husband and I stumbled on this while on a country drive and just had to stop. I had the pork bowl and my husband had the brisket and we just could not get enough. Everything about the dish was perfect and the staff was wonderful. I know my BBQ and this was the best I have had in years, definitely the best I have had since moving to DC. Worth the drive and the rental car from DC- my husband and I know we will be coming back probably too often!!
I stumbled upon their food truck yesterday while driving down 9 from Lovettsville to Leesburg. Boy, am I glad we did. The food was delicious, the owner was so kind and friendly, and OMG the BEST sweet jalapeños I’ve ever had in my life!!! I didn’t even know that sweet jalapeños were a thing. Tastebuds forever changed and I will be disappointed with other jalapeños for a very long time. LOL!
