This was one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had in my life
My wife and I were in the area and were looking for a place to eat. We saw this place had good reviews and decided to give it a try. I got the 12 inch "Mr. Coop" and an order of fries. My wife had the Mushroom Swiss burger. We each also got a fountain soda. The total for our food was $41.87 and was worth every penny. My cheesesteak was done perfectly. Hog Island has great cheese steaks, the Mr Coop is our favorite. The turkey club is another favorite, the turkey tastes homemade. The French fries are regular potatoes, no batter, and taste really fresh. Delivery is always speedy, this is a great steak and sandwich shop!
Fringe benefit of the food photographer is I get to sample much of what I photograph. Rich and the staff are super and sincerely friendly and the food is excellent. Sampled the wings, turkey club, cheesesteak hoagie, and the spaghetti & meatballs. The only problem is that I have driven through Phoenixville many many times and never noticed this place which blends into the Acme shopping center on Starr Street. I'll be back.
