Our water line has lead in it and Hodan didn’t notify some of the owners until over a month after the water department sent them the email notice. Lead is extremely harmful to all age groups especially to kids, infants, and fetuses, so if you have any of these or value your own safety, then don’t live anywhere that’s “managed” by Hodan. Shame on them.

If I could give 0, I would. This is the WORST management company I have ever experienced. They turn off our elevator (282 Newbury Street) every year during move in/out week on a 5 floor building so it doesn’t get used. Sorry, that’s literally what an elevator is for??? They are rude, unhelpful, unprofessional, and unresponsive. They do not listen to anything unless “it comes from your landlord,” even when the apartments are over 100° due to a heating issue. I can’t stress enough how terrible this company is to work with. In my time living at my apartment, Hodan was unresponsive to any and all dire service requests (aka the heat being blasted throughout the whole building at thanksgiving and melting residents’ medications, the padlock on the doors simply not working and refusing to change the code for months to avoid theft, construction with no clear end in sight and leaving a porta-potty in front of my windows for weeks, having literal mushrooms grow out of the ceilings in my u... read more
