I had a left knee replacement 21 Sept 2020, Dr. Hockman and his care team are excellent, I have recovered with minimal disruptions to my daily life. I would highly recommend them for all your knee replacement needs
Dr Hockman and his team are WONDERFUL!!!! I had my left knee replaced July 6th, 2020 and will have the right knee replaced October 12, 2020. I would NOT go to anyone else!!!! THANK YOU!
Dr Hockman diagnosed my knee problem when another orthopedic surgeon had not. He performed partial knee replacement and after healing/rehab, the pain is gone and function is great. Dr. Hockman is a kind and compassionate person as well as a very outstanding surgeon.
I went Oct 2019 for my 5 year check up. Left knee was done 9 years ago and right was done 6 years ago. They both still feel fine. My procedures both went well and never had what I consider pain after either procedure. Discomfort for maybe 3 weeks the 1st knee but less for the 2nd. Running days are over but walking & standing in one spot for extended periods now is fine.
2005 both knees done, short rehab, still working great. Dr. Hockman's office is efficient and generally wonderful. When I went the wait was long and then realized He had patients from Tenn,. Calif., New Jersey and Seattle.
Dr. Hickman is a superstar!
From the hospital to the after care was terrible. Sent my mom home with a terrible looking knee. Her primary said infected.
Five weeks ago, I received a partial knee replacement and today, except for some slight expected swelling and occasional stiffness, it feels very much normal and like my own. I'm also now walking 2-miles a day or more without pain. I am convinced that the success I’ve experienced is because of the skill and experience of my surgeon (Dr. Hockman), all the very professional staff, and the up-to-date facilities at The Columbia Orthopedic Group.
I couldn't have asked for any better care, from the initial appt. to schedule the surgery to the 6 week post op appt. I brought a list of questions to the first appt and he answered all of them before I had the chance to ask. He took his time to explain the entire procedure, I left that appt with total respect for Dr. Hickman and knew I would be in good hands. Post op went well, no problems. Its been 7 weeks and the scar is almost invisible. I couldn't be happier!
