Heard about Hocking Hills, 3 years ago. Finally made it this year. It was everything I dreamed it would be. The trails were well maintained, the views, caves, waterfalls, etc were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I loved every moment and although I didn't get to see it all, it was definitely a trip worth making. Hope to go again next year.

Hocking Hills is great but if your dog gets thirsty you better bring your own water. If you let them drink from the creek you’ll get kicked out.
Business response:
Due to construction, the drinking fountains at Old Man’s Cave are not functioning. We are checking with the contractor to see if we can open them back up. We have not kicked anyone out. They may have been told that they cannot go off trail to allow the dog to drink.
I visited the park over the summer with my kids! We had a great time!! The views on the trails are absolutely beautiful! I will definitely be back.
This review has nothing to do with the trails but everything with the campground. I will never be back to stay at this park. Nothing cheaper about it. Site was completely backwards. Our door to our motorhome was on the opposite side of the picnic table/sitting area. There was a drop off as soon as we walked out of our RV. Pool was closed due to not having lifeguards (back in school) which they did not indicate when I was making a reservation. The front desk directed us to go to Lake Logan to swim. When we arrived at Lake Log... read more
Business response:
Thank you for the feedback. We are always looking to improve. We have fixed that backwards campsite. If you are ever not happy with your site, please ask us for another and we will be glad to help. Also, there are no lifeguards at Lake Logan State Park, but we are required to have them at our pool for it to be open.
Had a great time this past week. Will be back!!!
