The Hock Family were wonderful to me and my family when my grandmother passed last Sunday. They spent time talking with me about expectations and took time to answer my questions no matter what time of day. I couldn't imagine her spending her last days anywhere else. Thank you!
I have never heard a negative review or story about this facility until recently. What I heard tonight about the way close family friends and the patient that they admitted to Hock before their death, was shocking and disappointing. There are, no doubt, caring nurses and doctors that have the difficult job of taking care of patients at the end of life at Hock. Recently I learned of a family and of a patient that was treated disrespect and, if you can believe it, had the POLICE called on them for not "social distancing", not ... read more
My dad and I spent his final weeks here with our now second family, Our hock family. The nurses, Doctors, CNA’s, support staff, and everyone there treated us with the upmost respect, they supported our decisions and made my dad’s final days so comfortable and peaceful. The staff at Hock are truly angels 💛
My husband Richard Scott Dickerson was in hospice but was not able to be moved there because he was on the high oxygen .Oxy flow.So he stayed at Duke Regional and he passed on the 5 th floor.I loved all the nurses and Drs. that took care of my husband...
There are no words to express how wonderful the staff at Hock are. My mother was there four days before she passed. The staff there treated her as if she was a member of their own family. The love and care given to my mom was impeccable. The nurses and CNA's became a part of our family. This was my family's second stay here at Hock and we highly recommend the facility to anyone needing hospice services. We greatly appreciate everything that was done for my mom and us during our time at Hock.
My sweet Grandmother spent her last few hours here. Some of the most caring people I've ever encountered work at Hock. I cannot thank y'all enough!
This is a WONDERFUL Facility! My mother transitioned there on 11/17/11, and the phenomenal care that she/ we received was top notch. The staff were very caring, warm, and sincere.
My mother spent her last week here and we all had a wonderful experience, despite the sadness of the occasion. I can't say enough about how kind, gentle, and compassionate the staff was, at all levels. Absolutely highest marks for this wonderful facility and experience.
My grandfather spent his last few days here at The Hock Pavilion. I have never experienced people that cared so much, were kind, dedicated and treat you so well. I've already told my husband, if I need the kind of care before he does and if he has a choice, I want to come here. Thank you so much for your services.
