Beware: Questionable Practices at Dr. Porta's Office. I visited Dr. Porta based on positive reviews, hoping for some relief from my slipped disks. He quickly convinced me to get X-rays, claiming it was necessary. After the X-rays, I learned that I have a slight leg length discrepancy something many people have and often isn’t an issue. Dr Porta is very approachable yet always very professional. He takes the time to explain the inner mechanics that create pain and how to correct them. At times he also uses detailed digital animations to help me visualize some issues in my body. As a patient, he makes me feel empowered to correct course on these issues and take care of my body the way i should. Both my wife and son go there too and i highly recommend Dr Porta.
Switched over to Dr. Porta 2 years ago. I have a lower disc that slips out that my prior chiro was having trouble getting back in routinely and Dr. Porta straightened me out on my first appointment with him. Since I’ve switched to Dr. Porta my injury has happened a lot less frequently. His attention to detail is top notch as he also discovered I was having a problem with my hip joint that my previous chiro didn’t catch. Highly reccomend 5 out of 5 !
