Hobbs Jewelers was founded in 1984 in Ardmore, Tennessee, by Steve Hobbs and Rodney Hobbs. Hobbs quickly became known through out the area for their selection and value. In 1989, Hobbs Jewelers opened its second store in Athens, Alabama. During this time, their father, Ed Hobbs, and their sister, Teresa Russell, joined the business. From 1989-1999, both stores served the North Alabama area. Then, in 1999, a decision was made to combine the two stores into one large store. Can we give this store more than 5 stars?!? We loved everything about this gorgeous jewelry store and the experience that came with shopping in it. The owners graciously allowed us to host a small event after hours and even after the store "closed" each individual that attended was treated with care and attention. My husband and bank account might prefer me staying away from STRATTON, but once you’ve found it, there is no going back to an ordinary jewelry store. STRATTON is an elevated experience for high quality jewelry, an edgy and chic atmosphere, and killer customer service. Stratton and her dad are the sweetest, most helpful people! Her store has something for everyone- especially those with a flare for the unique and daring.
