Awful mgmt. Very inexperienced. No proven plans including those w disabilities. *** non compliant. Non compliant structures. Code Enforcement fines and penalties. No experience with executing let alone implementing structural plans w workers. Filthy structures without mgmt knowing or learning what they need to do for compliance w federal and state laws. Employees if HOA STRATEGIES, unlawfully manage properties regularly using methods which, are strictly failures due to a conflict of interests. Hire dib contractors t the expe... read more

I have been a member of this neighborhood run by HOA Strategies since 2016. I have even became a board member to help create change, but was met with too much interference with HOA Strategies. New leadership was installed in May 2021 and still havent seen any changes. I sent an email to HOA Strategies asking for a process to get a rule changed, but the reply from (******* B, Community Manager) was It is best to try your best to abide by the rules and be a good neighbor. However, we make property visits once a month, and if y... read more

Business response:

Hello, based on our records, it appears that you are referring to one of the rules of your *** that prohibits parking on the street. This rule is defined in the covenants, conditions, and restrictions, or CC&Rs, which is part of the communitys governing documents and requires a supermajority approval of the owners to amend. These rules, and the penalties for violating them, were set forth when the *** was first created. The ***** of ********* is responsible for maintaining the rules. As the management company, HOA Strategies... read more

They encourage HOA president and select residents to search out violations (targeted harassment) against other residents so they can impose fines. There are numerous issues with underground pipes, fencing, landscaping and other issues that are in desperate need of repairs. Poor money management and wasteful spending have caused units to be unsafe: flooding, black mold, etc. the majority of residents are afraid to speak out in fear of retaliation fines. Unsafe, bad management and failure to communicate.

Business response:

Hi Braden, thank you for sharing your thoughts. As the management company, HOA Strategies cannot really do anything about the issues you bring up unless they are included in our contract. The Board of Directors are elected positions, so my first suggestion is for you to run for the board if you are unhappy with the current leadership. If, as you say, there are multiple residents who are like-minded, you've got a golden opportunity to galvanize them into action. We recommend you read this article to learn more about HOA gover... read more

I am not one to complain or file complaints and honestly I never have until today. If my grammar or English is off again I apologize. However; after my experience with the above business and the two associates I have spoken with. I wanted to voice my opinion again this is only my opinion and what I experienced. Here I go: I received a letter regarding the take over in mid January. I immediately set up my auto pay online as suggested. As I attempted to clear up the two months that was not paid due to this change. I had called... read more

Business response:

Thank you Amy for sharing your experience. Any change can be disruptive, and we understand that when your community association opted to switch management companies, it created a hardship for you to switch payment methods, through no fault of your own. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced as a result of that change. As HOA Strategies is a different management company than your old company, it was, unfortunately, necessary for you to switch your online payment method for the new system. Under our payment portal,... read more
