Just visited the store and was told to mask up, which I have no problem with the ordinance. The man and other three employees had no mask on. No one asked if we needed help and as we leaving they said “Sorry, I was not able to get to you.” He was conversing with the other employees.
Had a service call on my fireplace and a service tech came out. First place he didn't cover my hardwood floors with anything as he started removing metal covers and the glass. inquired as to my problem and I acknowledge. He told me he has seen this issue several times and to tap tap tap on my regulator and that should do it. Ahhh tap on a gas regulator I don't think so! Did not even suggest on replacing it. Was extremely disappointed in the service we received today. I have never had a tech (in 15 years) come to service our FP and NOT put a drop cloth down on our floors. Having hardwood floors, I expect anyone placing equipment on the hardwood to,use a drop cloth to protect the floors. Then he spray painted the interior of the FP without advising us that he was doing it. With allegories, I have to be careful around strong odors. It would have been nice if he had asked or advised what he was going to do. Our home still smells li... read more
