RecommendedThe pediatric unit here is amazing. no matter where I am in the state, my babies will come here. They not only saved my son's life, they made both him and myself comfortable. He needed an Appendectomy and we were all terrified *although, I think we hid it well. Everyone goes out of their way to give you the information you need, with a smile to boot. Thank you. His belly button doesn't even look much different...which is good, because he has a cute one

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place for ANYONE! I've been sitting in this hospital after being admitted with pancreatitis for the last 4 days and they refuse to give me anything for the pain! Finally they give me an anti inflammatory and they tell me I can only have it every 8 hours! what a joke this place is!

Absolute worst experience of my life at HUMC. I waited on a gurney in the hallway of the ER for almost 3 days before they had a room for me. I will do everything in my lower to never return unless I’m a visitor.
