I had a stroke and was taken to ER. These people there are overworked and totally stressed out, but they did their job. The hospital dropped the ball a bit when I get transferred over to observation, where I had no observation, lol. Fortunately they listened to mine and my family's concerns and things were rectified quickly. Once I was admitted and got a room upstairs it was a different ballgame. They have a great staff and the facility is excellent. Just don't order the ziti with meatballs!

Awesome experience. The gentleman in the sleep study department made us feel welcome and really connected with my son! It could have went terrible but it didn't! My son kept all the wires on and slept without pulling at the wires. There was absolutely no crying until the morning when my son had to wake up. Even still we were not rushed out! We had time to eat our breakfast and get cleaned up and ready for the day. Definitely recommend any sleep study to be done at Hackensack medical center!

I personally love coming to this hospital, every time I come here they patient care service it's excellent specially for children! Best Hospital hands down❤️❤️❤️

The entire staff was amazing. When walking the halls you were always greeted with an hello or a smile.

I've been treated with care, compassion & respect since September of 2015 when I was first diagnosed with multiple cancers in my pancreas & liver. Surgeries, biopsies, chemotherapy, radiation therapy & pain management. My cancers have no known cure but treatments keep me living & comfortable. Generally short waiting times. Prompt response. Kindness, compassion & care throughout the journey. I am grateful we chose Hackensack university Medical Center and the John There Cancer Center.
