I do miss Dr Duchon but I have to say Dr. Gelfrand is wonderful. She is intelligent, knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and kind. I am so very grateful that she was able to come to this practice and that my care will be managed. Just as I felt a weight off my shoulders about having to manage my own care. I feel the same with this doctor. What a blessing. Also, she has a lovely nursing assistant. Everyone in the office were really helpful and friendly.
Dr. Duchon was one of the best doctors I have been treated by. I had a great first consultation visit with her in October 2024.....never knowing even in the wildest of my dreams that she would be so brutally murdered. I was very impressed with her and felt fortunate to go in her care.... but destiny had a very unfavorable plan :(. RIP doctor....it's a great loss not only for your precious daughter and family but also for your patients and the medical community.
She's a great doctor she gets right to the point she explains to you every thing she's going to do and how to treat thyroid problems what steps to take to solve it and overcome thyroid as the thyroid explains step by step the treatment if any for the thyroid she's number one encronoligyst
I am completely shocked and devastated of Dr. Duchon passing !!! She helped me get my A1c down in a year from a 11 to a 6.3 . I needed a hip replacement surgery badly . And couldn’t have it till I reached under 7 . We worked very closely with each other !!! She truly cared and listened, she didn’t stereo type. Your to fat , your eating bad ect.., she got the the root of problem diet , the right medications close contact to reach our goal .
