We had the "Official Start to Summer" tasting menu ($99), and it was a creative dining experience with plenty of intriguing flavor combinations and thoughtful touches. Chilled Corn Soup: A fantastic opener. Perfectly chilled with a wonderful balance of sweetness and acidity, and the toasted rice added an amazing crunch. I’ve had tasting menus a few other times (several in Austin and one in Bangkok) and this just wasn’t that inspiring or innovative. Cod dish was a little overcooked, asparagus dish was something I felt I could make, bison rib was mostly fat and hard to eat. Melon dessert was the standout although presentation made it look like a plate of eyeballs. For the price you’re also paying for the experience, but restaurant was basically in a strip mall and menu was missing 2 of 3 pages.
A wonderful and unique dining experience in Sioux Falls that is unmatched. Highly recommended for special occasions or to explore a fun dining experience
I travel a lot. I've eaten at a lot of great restaurants. This is absolutely one of the best I've ever had. Fantastic flavors in the food, excellent presentation and service, wine pairings they were heaven. It was expensive, but honestly I would expect to pay much more if this were in Chicago or Denver. If you're a foodie, add this to the "must do" list when in Sioux Falls.
