Dr. Patel was pleasant during office visit but is non-responsive to request to stop blood thinners. Checking my online records shows he doesn't have complete and accurate records and his staff is making decisions without a complete medical history. They appear to only be willing to consult with dentist and not the patient. Numerous request for Dr. Patel to call me(even asking to bill Insurance for phone consultation) has gone unanswered
I had a heart issue on a Thursday. Spoke with his PA and Dr. Patel. They recommended I go to the ER. The ER Doctor diagnosed the issue and said I should contact Dr. Patel on Monday for a follow-up. I called his office and asked to speak to Dr. Patel. They said they would have him call. No return call on Monday. For the next four days I called twice a day and never received a call back. So far, it's two weeks later no call back. I now have a new Cardiologist.
I am writing this review for my 83 year old mother. She continually gets a lack of attention and now they supposedly scheduled surgery for her. His nurse won't return my phone call to get more details on the date, location, and time. I have been calling the scheduling department. Horrible.
I highly recommend Dr Patel. Wonderful chap who knows his stuff. Bless
We would give 0 stars if we could. We have been seeing this doctor at this practice for over a decade and feel like herded cattle here. Wait times are horrendous and the waiting room is always like a sardine can, so plan to spend the whole day here if you have an appointment. God help you if you need to call for anything because that's always hours of your life wasted. Dr. Patel is an over prescriber. My husband suffered a traumatic brain injury. His neuro doctors could not understand why he was on so many meds. They felt Dr. Patel was very negligent in 1) over pre-scribing and 2) not adjusting meds after significant weight loss and elapse of time. Blood thinners are not your friend.
Unfortunately I love the practice. However over the past 3 visits my wait time has averaged 1.5 hours (it is justo very 2 hours for my last). This is absolutely unacceptable. This kind of wait for 10-15 minutes of a Doctor’s time and/or a 15 minute test.
I found Dr. Patel very nice and easy to talk to. I would recommend him to my friends.
Always takes sufficient time and listens. Have been with him about 10 years and think he is the very best.
